These Terms of Use and Sale apply to coherencepro.com, operated by Formation Équilibios Inc., 5748 9e Avenue, Montréal, Québec H1Y 2J9, Canada (“Coherence Pro”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying a course, you accept these terms.
1. Our courses
Coherence Pro offers online video courses on cardiac coherence and heart rate variability (HRV), created by Dr. David O’Hare, MD. Each course page describes its content, length and price.
2. Educational purpose — not medical advice
Our courses and resources are for educational purposes only. They do not replace a diagnosis, treatment or advice from a qualified health professional. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have heart or breathing problems, consult your physician before starting breathing exercises. Health professionals remain responsible for how they use what they learn with their own clients and patients.
3. Account
You need an account to access a course. You agree to give accurate information, keep your password confidential, and tell us about any unauthorized use. One account is for one person.
4. Prices, payment and taxes
- Prices are shown and charged in US dollars (USD). Your bank may apply currency conversion fees.
- Prices include all applicable Canadian sales taxes (GST/HST and, in Québec, QST) for customers in Canada. For customers outside Canada, no Canadian tax is charged; any local taxes that may apply in your country are your responsibility.
- Payment is made online through Stripe (credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay) or PayPal. Access to the course is granted as soon as the payment is confirmed.
- We may change our prices at any time; the price that applies is the one shown when you buy.
5. Access to courses
When you buy a course, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to watch it for as long as it is offered on Coherence Pro. We may update or improve course content. If we ever stop offering a course, we will give you at least 90 days’ notice so you can complete it.
6. Refunds
You can get a full refund within 30 days of purchase. The details are in our Refund Policy.
7. Intellectual property
All videos, texts, guides, images and other materials are owned by Formation Équilibios Inc. or Dr. David O’Hare, or used under licence, and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own learning and in your professional practice, but you may not copy, download, record, share, resell or publish them, in whole or in part, without our written permission.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to share your login, try to access content you have not bought, disrupt the site, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, without refund in case of serious misuse.
9. Limitation of liability
We do our best to keep the site available and the content accurate, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or specific results. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the course concerned. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the laws that apply to you, including the Québec Consumer Protection Act.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the one in force on the date of purchase.
12. Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of the judicial district of Montréal, unless the law of your country of residence gives you the right to use other courts.
